22 & 23 Week Pictures--Stay Home Mom

22 Weeks

23 Weeks!

15 weeks to go (Since I won't go past 38 weeks)! These boys are getting very active!!! I will start the nursery this weekend, I can't wait!

In other news, I have given my official notice to my employer that I will be leaving to be a stay home Mom. This was a VERY difficult decision, but a good one for the Smithback Family. We are able to afford it and I think it will be for the better. My last day at the credit union will be June 8th. I will be 34 weeks pregnant and probably VERY uncomfortable. I may work from home on a very part time basis doing compliance work after the babies are born, but that may change.

Appointment 03.14.11

Had my two week ultrasound appointment on Monday. The boys are great! Baby A is 15 oz and Baby B is 1 pound. So, I have two pounds of baby plus baggage! :-) They are both breech, and baby A is breech vertex (laying accross) at this point.

20 & 21 Week Pictures

20 Weeks!

Doing well at 21 weeks! Clothing is getting harder and harder to fit into!

Ultrasound - 2 IDENTICAL BOYS!!

Here are my ultrasound pictures from the 20 week scan! Twin A is on the top (right hand side of me) and Twin B is on the bottom of each section (left side of me). Twin A is 9OZ and Twin B is 10OZ! They are ALL MAN as Eric said! The last set of pictures, you can see both of their hands at each other, they each are saying I am number 1!

Since they are identical, I will be seen every 2 weeks for an ultrasound and been seen by the high risk doctor. My regular OB will see me April 1st, and then every two weeks after that! Lots of appointments. Today I measured 24 weeks (I am only 19 weeks and 2 days) so about amonth ahead (very normal). I will be getting big, very FAST now!

Yey! Half way done! I am half way at 19 weeks because my doctor said she will not let me go past 38 weeks! I have gained 13.6 pounds, and the doctor thinks that is GREAT! :-)

The babies are doing GREAT! They are measuring right where they should be and are the same size. They look the same and are facing the same way right on top of each other. I was so happy to hear they are doing so well! 

February 28th will be my 20 week appointment to find out the gender for sure, she took a guess last night... but you will have to stay tuned for the official word!
